I received a very warm welcome, and this hotel met my expectations in every way.
Areas for improvement:
The street is very busy at night and can be quite noisy, but of course the hotel can't do much about it.

Location is now the "trendy" part of town, with lots of good locals hops for food, coffee, forgotten things. The decor is sweet and old fashioned. And of course the price is right.
Areas for improvement:
One side, the side I was on, opens to a noisy street. Because there is no a/c I had yo keep the windows open. I have a great pair of ear plugs and that helps. I've stayed here before so I know what ...
